About Tomorrow’s People
Tomorrows People is a well established national employment charity helping young people and adults to get and keep a job. We have over 15 years local experience of providing both 1-1 and group workshop support activities to young people living on Merseyside. All the help that we give is focused on improving the long-term employment prospects of people facing barriers of progressing in learning and work. We help transform peoples lives by supporting the ‘re-skilling’ of unemployed people, so that in time they can progress into suitable work and hold down the job long-term.
We can help you figure out what you are good at, what you want to do and how to make your plans come to reality. Our experienced advisers/tutors take time to get to know you, offering 1-1 help and advice, along with group support sessions for two days weekly over ten weeks. We will help you recognise and build on the skills you already have and develop a CV; help you choose from various options by connecting you to local employers and training providers so that you can get a job or progress by volunteering or work experience, or choose to go back to study or further training.
We will support your job-search activities including employer research, completing applications/ letters and interview preparation. This will grow your confidence and get you ready for work or training. We stick by you to help make a success of your choice/s, by follow-up support once you start a job, work placement or training.
