Kieran’s on track to join the army

Kieran was 20 years old and NEET when he was introduced by his Jobcentre Plus Adviser, in March 2017, to the Working Futures programme in South Sefton run by Tomorrow’s People.

He lacked confidence, interview skills and work experience – all issues that the programme could help him with.

Working Futures supported Kieran to improve his CV, motivated him to spend hours researching career opportunities and job vacancies and increased his confidence through regular attendance on the programme.

He has now successfully gained employment with Asda and has applied to join the army.

Kieran said:

“Working Futures helped me to get myself into a routine of getting up and in the mind set of starting work.

It has also helped me to do more frequent job searching and applications, knowing I had the support of the qualified staff at hand for help.”
